Solar Street Lights
Solar street lights are elevated light sources powered by photovoltaic panels typically installed on the light fixture itself. These panels charge a rechargeable battery, which in turn provides power to an LED lamp during nighttime hours. These lights often feature automatic on/off functionality based on outdoor light levels, ensuring they operate when needed.
Solar streetlights are designed for extended operation, capable of staying lit for multiple nights even without sunlight. This system is particularly suitable for lighting streets, intersections, forests, and rural areas that lack access to a power grid. Equipped with sufficient battery storage, these lights can provide illumination for 10-11 hours daily. Unlike traditional lamps with yellow-orange light, solar street lights using LED technology emit a bright, targeted, and high-quality white light, enhancing color rendering and nighttime visibility.
